Born Donor Bank was founded in 2016 and has quickly become Denmark's third-largest sperm bank. Born currently has branches in Copenhagen, Aalborg, Aarhus, and Odense, and provides donor sperm to all of Europe. In 2021, Born became part of the publicly traded company Medicover, which operates in the health, diagnostics, and fertility industries. Born is dedicated to providing a service where responsibility, professionalism, and individual consideration are paramount regarding donors, customers, and partners.

Born is powered by passionate individuals who possess extensive knowledge of the fertility industry. The company operates internationally across most of Europe, with the UK and Germany as its largest markets. Expansion to other markets is a top priority.

Regional Account Manager with Relationship-Building- and Strong Language Skills

As a Regional Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to establish connections with new customers (fertility clinics) while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clinics. Your primary focus will be the DACH countries, with a special emphasis on Germany. Born is currently present on the German market, however, the market still represents significant untapped potential. Because of this, you will play a key role at Born and have great responsibility for the development in one of Born’s largest markets. The position requires that you visit fertility clinics, attend conferences and international fairs. Consequently, the job is estimated to involve 60-90 travel days per year. Your tasks will encompass everything from developing sales strategies and setting goals, to providing advice and direct sales. You will work closely with our customer service team about sales and support for both customers and clinics.

By nature, you have a commercial understanding, and you are accustomed to working with sales budgets and strategically analyzing sales. Your educational background is not decisive, but it's an advantage if you have commercial experience and understand the demands of frequent travel, preferably combined with healthcare-related knowledge or experience from the Life Science industry.

You have strong social skills, an open mindset, and the ability to navigate various cultures. You work according to high ethical standards, are trustworthy, and skilled at building relationships. Furthermore, you are a proficient networker, capable of establishing connections and forging lasting collaborations.

It is essential that you are fluent in written and spoken German, and that you can communicate in English in a business context.
