betterpeople A/S is looking for an IT Support Manager on behalf of BioMar Group.

BioMar was founded in 1962 by a group of ambitious Danish fish farmers and has since grown into a global leader in producing healthy, sustainable feed that enhances growth and wellbeing in aquaculture. From its Danish roots, BioMar has grown into an international company with more than 1,700 employees and continues to grow. 

Today, BioMar operates 17 feed factories located in Norway, Chile, Denmark, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Turkey, China, Vietnam, Ecuador, Australia, and Costa Rica. Worldwide, they supply feed to around 90 countries and for more than 45 different species. The company is wholly owned by the Danish industrial group Schouw & Co., listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

Driving a reliable and globally connected IT support function 

As IT Support Manager, you will lead BioMar’s global IT support, covering both the IT Service Desk and Onsite Support. You will ensure smooth operations, provide timely support to employees worldwide, and drive ongoing improvements that enhance efficiency and collaboration throughout the organisation. 

You will play a central role in developing and implementing global IT support processes while continually raising service quality, productivity, and workflows. Your contribution will ensure the development of a professional support function that tackles everyday challenges, strengthens teamwork across regions, and supports BioMar’s global growth.  

This role requires a leader who can combine strategic insight with operational execution, communicate clearly, and foster strong collaboration while nurturing a high-performing environment. 

Technical expertise and collaborative leadership 

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge and proven experience in managing IT support operations. You have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and devices, along with familiarity with ITIL processes and experience with IT service management systems, which you leverage to deliver reliable support across multiple regions. Your ability to structure operations, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement will be key to creating a high-performing IT support function. 

You are skilled in engaging with stakeholders, translating technical challenges into practical outcomes, and fostering collaboration across teams and regions. A proactive, service-oriented mindset, combined with excellent English communication skills, will enable you to lead your international team, inspire confidence, and deliver IT support that directly drives efficiency and reliability.
